Institute for Learning in Retirement - East
BW ILR in Orange Village, Ohio
The Institute for Learning in Retirement at Baldwin Wallace University offers senior adults the opportunity to continue learning in an informal, flexible 和 non-competitive college environment. Offering a series of non-credit, college-level courses on a variety of topics, the BW ILR is committed to providing an educational 和 social experience that is highly accessible 和 inexpensive. The BW ILR is one of many ILRs associated with colleges 和 universities across the country.
Unless otherwise indicated, ILR-East presents its program of courses at 伊曼纽尔神庙, located at the intersection of Brainard 和 Emery roads in Orange Village. The ILR-East offers classes in the fall, winter, 和 spring on 星期二, 星期三, 和 周四.
We are an all-volunteer endeavor. 军官, committee members, 和 presenters all volunteer their personal time to make the program enjoyable 和 successful.
ILR-East Membership
The cost of membership in ILR-East is currently $30 for each academic year 和 entitles members to a low fee of $35 per course, all volunteer opportunities within the organization, 投票权限, 和 attendance at our annual meeting every spring. The money raised through our membership 和 class fees not only covers our rent 和 other expenses, but also helps to provide scholarships for adult, non-traditional Baldwin Wallace University students each year, 在可能的情况下.
One must enroll to become a member in order to attend classes through ILR-East. A membership enrollment form will be included with each term’s course flyer 和 registration form for anyone who would like to take classes but has not yet enrolled.
